At the base of Snowpeak lies a vast frozen lake. All year this lake is completely frozen. It is also at this time of year when crossing the lake becomes easiest by foot, though as the blizzards are harshest in winter time the option is not an appealing one to almost anyone but the thick-furred creatures said to live higher up in the mountain peaks.

Cold and high, Snowpeak Mountain keeps a white head of snow for almost all of the year around. On one of its peaks, the mountain’s only city is located, Yeti’s Peak. Near its base, it is possible to get inside Snowpeak itself to find a series of caves that can shelter adventurous travelers from the chill winds for a while, but ultimately any traveller staying too long is likely to freeze to death on the Snowpeak slopes.

Recently discovered by a group of Hylians, Yeti's Peak is rumored to be much older than first believed. Literally the peak of one of the mountains of Snowpeak, it is filled to the brim with kind and peaceful Yetis. Because of the size of one of these beasts, everything is so large; you'll feel like a mouse as the biggest Goron. It's a very large area, and always completely covered in snow.
