Central Hyrule
The central area of Hyrule is a landscape free from the provincial extremes; neither too warm nor too damp nor too wooded. Much of this landscape is taken up by the vast expanses of the Hyrule fields, verdent plains and lush grasslands that spread for many miles and touch against the borders of the innermost provinces. At the centre of this lanscape sits the walled city known as Castle town; which itself is dominated by Hyrule Castle.

Lanayru Province
The fast-flowing rapids that churn throughout the length of Zora's river is in harsh contrast to the serene and graceful Lake Hylia. While the majority of the province is the domain of Hylians, residing along the fields and along the banks of Lake Hylia, one cannot forget about the illustrious Zora kingdom, guarded by the dangerous yet breathtaking Zora River.

Eldin Province
Covering the majority of northeastern Hyrule, the Eldin province contains one of Hyrule's most striking landmarks, Death Mountain. Death Mountain is home to the Gorons, who make their home in Goron City, expanding into the Goron Mines, which burrow deep into the mountain. At the foot of this active volcano lies the town of Kakariko Village and former home to the Sheikah.

Faron Province
Connecting Ordon Village to the rest of Hyrule, Faron Woods are filled with paths and caves to help those traveling through them to get by. Quite easy to navigate, as long as you know where you are going. There are a few forks in the road, one of which leads to the beautiful Ordon Spring, said to replenish the energy of a weary traveller. There is even a small area that leads back to the Lost Woods. If you can find it, of course.…

Ordona Province
The Ordona Province is masked by a feeling of great comfort and peace. The most popular location here would be Ordon Village, tucked away peacefully from the rest of the world. There is also a beautiful spring close by, known for its healing properties. Ordona Province is more than just a paradise, though, for south of Ordon Village lies Fort Mohblaargh, a place of danger and utter mayhem if your race doesn’t end in –blin.

Desert Province
To the west of Hyrule lies a vast desert, strewn with desolate sandy dunes and barren canyons. At night it is a frigid land, ravaged by chill winds that leave the dunes coated with frost; but during the heat of the day the desert becomes a scorching furnace that withers skin and flesh alike. Home to the Gerudo tribe, the desert is rarely visited by foreigners. The Gerudo are watchful for trespassers upon their lands and quick with the blade.

Peak Province
One of Hyrule’s most secluded and desolate provinces. The only known race to inhabit these mountains would be the gentle giants, the Yetis, mainy around Yeti’s Peak, the only real village any explorers have found in this area. The Frozen Lake is also at the base of the mountains frozen solid from years of cold. Peak Province is very undiscovered, and is just waiting for a curious adventurer to delve just a little deeper.

Central Termina
Central Termina covers a vast area of Termina including Clock Town, Termina Fields, and Termina’s farmlands. Surrounding central Termina is very different terrains, north is the mountains of snowhead, east is the Lost Kingdom of Ikana, south is covered by swamps and west is the Great Bay. Clock Town is the liveliest of the three located in the middle of the country, home to many. The fields takes up a large portion, covered in trees that circle around Clock Town and touching the mountains, valleys, and bay. The farmlands is where most of Termina’s produce is grown.

Southern Swamp
The stinking, humid swamp in southern Termina covers a large area. The edges of which are filled with many trees along the passageways and an area known as the Woods of Mystery inhabited by talking Monkeys. However, deeper into the swamps it gets wetter and more mysterious. A pair of twin witches work their magic while Deku Royalty resides further south in their palace. Right in the heart of the swamp, the extinct volcano known as Woodfall provides the waters which allows life to continue.

Northern Mountain
To the north of Clock Town looms mountains dusted in white. Winter is the eternal season the higher up one climbs, but luckily the two villages on Snowhead are unaffected, inhabited by a variety of different groups of people. Traveling to the top is still a treacherous adventure, although once you do the mysteries of Snowhead will rear their heads for the adrenaline seekers looking for something to do.

Western Ocean
The area known simply as the Great Bay is made up of Zoras, Pirates, and good music. Yet it is what one finds when they travel through the placid waters that makes this an interesting place to be. Besides the Zora hangouts and the xenophobic pirate fortress, there is Pinnacle Rock, a structure which is surrounded by treacherous waters and animals, and the Marine Research Lab – one of Termina’s greatest links to the world of knowledge.

Eastern Canyon
The Eastern Canyon is the most arid and desolate area of Termina, with sparse rainfall and rugged, rocky terrain. A new society, led by the shade of Igos du Ikana, was founded almost twenty years ago. While still populated by the undead, it is much more peaceful and safe for those still breathing. New settlements, run by the undead, have been popping up everywhere, much like the vegetation and animals.
