| Tophu  'A New Kakariko' Ends!2010-06-24 23:32:39 GMT
ZRPG's second official mainplotline, entitled 'A New Kakariko' has officially come to an end today as they felt the tremors from the earthquake and experienced the shock of seeing their friend volunteers come carting in from the other city in caravans that were supposed to arrive days ago! With 21 completed threads in its history, and over fifty characters involved, this storyline has spanned much of Hyrule and affected a great deal of people. As the one who created the initial storyline and played as Adrian Bishop (amongst others) I would just like to thank everyone who helped along the way.
If anything made this story great, it was the people that were there alongside Adrian, putting up with him at his worse. Some of ZRPG's greatest characters made their debut in these threads, and some members started their RP careers here and have gone on to do great things in the RP community themselves. Originally this was supposed to be a uniting storyline that was about peace instead of war, and I think it conquered its original goals. While Old Kakariko may not have fared so well, we built a new village in its wake!
Now, I do have to mention some of the more clerical issues to the plot finishing. Because it is done, obviously some time has passed. In my final post, I posted things that were happening a year in the future, where New Kakariko is almost completely finished. That is the world we are RPing in. This will not affect any of your RPs. There is a time period (that none of you have to explain) where all of your RPs fit in without having to tweak anything. Characters will be aged by one year (as natural progression of time deems must've happened) and you can continue doing things as you wish. If you want to have your character's RPs deal with the timeskip, make sure you do so correctly and responsibly. Please note this also means we now take place 14 years after Ganondorf's reign and 21 years after the Terminian Moon Crisis. (We're really running through time, aren't we? When I first joined it was 11 years after Ganondorf's reign... but now I'm just reminiscing.)
But please, this new village is now open for everyone's use! I really hope to see you all use it and enjoy it. The idea behind New Kakariko is that it is where Twilight Princess's Kakariko Village resides, and Old Kakariko is the Hidden Village. It is a little bigger, and much newer, than Kakariko Village in Twilight Princess though. It is also much more peaceful.
Once again, thanks to everyone involved in the New Kakariko plotline. Get ready for what we have next, because it is going to be a doozy that you are all going to want to get involved in. Exciting times!
